While I was talking with Jenni about the family blob, Isabelle, ON HER OWN, did this:

For some reason our family (mainly Laura who then inspired it among the next generation) has a fetish with being in boxes (which is ironic because some of us also inherited the gene for claustrophobia.) As far as I know, I believe this is the first documentation. Following are some more examples. Does anyone have any others?

Okay, I know I circulated this about a year ago, but we didn't have the blog back then, so I want to post it for posterity. This timeless picture inspires some thought-provoking questions: Which head goes on which body? What is Jim doing? Where is Laura? What is Jenni doing?? Why did Aunt Marge bring the Fisher-Price castle on their mission?

Smarts finally comment

I just wanted to comment that I think this family blob is fabulous. I'm sorry it has taken me so long to contribute. (I mainly blame Comcast because I've had a hard time even accessing the internet for the past two weeks!) I actually have the perfect picture that I want to post, but my scanner is also giving me fits, but I will figure something out. Michael in New York

Lucky for us, Michael had some time on his stop in New York to come down and meet us for dinner. It was fun to show him around downtown and visit with him in our apartment. Here is Michael in our apartment. Keep this one for posterity.
