We felt so honored to be invited to celebrate Matt's big day at SUU.
I was so excited to bring my camera and take lots of candid shots.

And pathetically, that is where our battery died. Right before the big halftime event. I feel like such a looser. I even faked taking some pictures down on the field with my nice camera, while snapping some with Jen's camera, just because I was afraid the people down there with REALLY nice cameras would think I was lame. *sigh*But it was a great day! We were so proud of Matt and the Cannon family. It was really thrilling to watch them unveil that #9. (Spencer was extra proud because he was #9 on his soccer team this year.) We had so much fun. The game was great and brought back so many memories of watching Matt play. After half time we got to go up in the press box to a private room complete with food and a great view. Our kids still talk about going up to the "luxury box" After the game Spencer said, "If BYU ever plays SUU, I'm going to call for a tie!" Our kids thought it was the greatest thing ever: a football game with cousins, swimming at a hotel pool with Poppy, making sand and glitter projects brought by Gayle Saturday night and sleeping in a hotel bed. Thanks again for the opportunity, Cannons!
